3. M series (Modicon will also be printed on the box)
This series mainly includes M258, M251, M241, M238, M218 LMC058, LMC078, programming software SoMachine, of which LMC058 and LMC078 support motion control. It is a programming software based on the CoDeSyS platform developed by Schneider itself, which is mainly used in the OEM industry. This series was launched relatively late, about 10 years or so. Before this, the OEM industry mainly used M340. Due to the openness of CoDeSyS, this series of PLCs is cost-effective. The most basic M218 also supports the six programming languages of the IEC61131-3 standard, and all have their own dual serial ports, so there are more and more on the market, and they are often seen by everyone.

In addition, there must be a SoMachine Motion software, which is also based on the CoDeSyS platform, and is specially developed for the high-end motion controller PacDrive3. Of course, this is relatively rare in China, and it is mainly from imported equipment that comes randomly, especially in the packaging industry. In addition, this platform also has a packaged robot library, which can be used for various standard robots, such as spider hand robots.

4. M series 2
This series mainly includes M221, M100, and M200, similar to Siemens SMART series. It is launched for the increasingly unrestricted and efficient OEM industry. The programming software SoMachine Basic, although its name also has SoMachine, has nothing to do with CoDeSyS. The programming style is similar to Japanese PLC. If you are used to IEC programming, it may be difficult to accept it for a while.
