Introduction of HMI man-machine interface of FANUC system

HMI-the operator's "man-machine interface".
      For this requirement, each CNC system manufacturer has its own unique implementation method, which can be summed up in two categories:
①. Using the CNC system of general microcomputers (including industrial machines), the machine tool manufacturer directly uses VC, VB or other graphics software on the system to compile its own pictures with the CNC information library provided by the system manufacturer;
②. For CNC system of special machine, in addition to the above methods, the system manufacturer uses VC and VB to develop graphics library and CNC information library for users. After the machine tool manufacturer purchases this software, it runs on the computer, develops its own screen, and then compiles it. Later, it was introduced into CNC Flash-ROM (Early Flash-RAM with built-in battery). Practice has proved that the reliability of the CNC system of a special machine is much higher than that of a general-purpose machine.
       As we all know, FANUC's CNC is a special machine. Since some people think it is a special machine, its openness must be bad. In fact, FANUC started the research on opening its system to the outside world more than 20 years ago, and some products are used in its 0 system and 16/18/21, 15 systems, such as: Custom MACRO, MACRO Executor, C Language Executor, the window function of PMC. We can find examples of its application from manufacturers such as Makino (Makino) and Mori Seiki (Mori Seiki).

       The most commonly used HMI are processing plants for automotive parts (especially in Europe and the United States) and mold processing plants. FANUC and GE-FANUC developed related HMI products more than ten years ago in accordance with the requirements put forward by General Motors (GM), such as hardware: Panel i; software: BOP1, CSD, FOCAS1/2, HMI-PC (or called HMI-CNC). These products have been widely used in GM's engine plants, transmission plants and parts plants at home and abroad.
