Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B is a CompactLogix 5370 L2 programmable automation controller. It is a processor module with the same CPU performance capabilities as the L3 controller but it has a smaller form factor and is more cost-effective. The 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B is a packaged sink/source controller and it is best for small applications such as hoisting and cranes, indexing tables, and packaging. It can be monitored and configured using RSLogix5000 / Logix Designer software. Up to 32 controller tasks and 100 programs per task can be handled by the 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B.

This controller comes with a 1MB user memory that can be expanded by the 1 GB SD memory card shipped with the controller or by an optional 2 GB memory. It has One (1) USB port and Two (2) EtherNet/IP ports supporting DLR and for 256 EtherNet/IP and 120 TCP connections are also available. The 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B also comes with Sixteen (16) sourcing 24 Volts DC digital output points, an equal number of sinking/sourcing 24 Volts DC digital input points, Four (4) high-speed counters, Four (4) universal analog inputs, and Two (2) analog outputs. This controller can accommodate expansions of up to Four (4) 1769 modules. It has status LEDs and an open-type enclosure.

The 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B has an embedded power supply of 24 Volts DC, a current draw of 1 Amp at 5 Volts DC, and a current draw of 0.8 Amps at 24 Volts DC. It also has an operating voltage range of 10 to 28.8 Volts DC at 40 degrees Celsius, 10 to 27 Volts DC at 55 degrees Celsius, and 10 to 26.4 Volts DC at 60 degrees Celsius. Its maximum off-state voltage is 5 Volts DC and its maximum off-state current is 1.5 mA. It also has an on-state current that ranges from a minimum of 2 mA and a maximum of 5 Amps at 24 Volts DC per channel. The nominal output voltage of the 1769-L24ER-QBFC1B is 24 Volts DC and its operating voltage range is 20.4 to 26.4 Volts DC. Its maximum off-state leakage current is 0.1 mA at 24 Volts DC, its on-state current is 0.5 mA at 24 Volts DC per channel, and its maximum on-state voltage drop is 1 Volts DC at 1 Amp. It also has a current per point of 0.83 Amps at 40 degrees Celsius, 0.58 Amps at 55 degrees Celsius, and 0.5 Amps at 60 degrees Celsius. It also has a current per module of 6.64 Amps at 40 degrees Celsius, 4.64 Amps at 55 degrees Celsius, and 4 Amps at 60 degrees Celsius. The controller also has a continuous isolation voltage of 30 Volts DC.
