Ultimately the adoption of ISO 9000 standards will spread throughout the United States, resulting in our suppliers and customers gaining registration status as well. Our supplier involvement is particularly significant since it will promote a common understanding of quality and continuous improvement throughout the process/product chain. GE Fanuc will accept ISO 9000 registration in lieu of a quality system audit. We have also modified our Supplier Quality System survey to include ISO 9000 series criteria.
