Description

The module provides four voltage input signal range options and two current input signal range options for selection. The following table shows the effective signal range for A/D conversion for each of these input signal range options. The default input signal range is“-10 to 10V DC”.

The module provides two current input signal range options for selection. The following table shows the effective signal range for A/D conversion for each of these input signal range options. The default input signal range is “0 to 20 mA DC”. The module has a built-in drift compensation function, which is used to compensate for any drift in the conversion output values caused by temperature variations during operation or other reasons. The module automatically and regularly monitors the reference voltage, and updates the drift compensation amount accordingly. The monitoring period depends on the specified conversion period. Monitoring the reference voltage also enables the module to check whether the A/D converter is operating normally.
